Draken Godai

Draken I realize is obviously NOT an Okinawan name. But yes, Draken here is supposed to be Okinawan born and moved to the United States when he was about 10. He practiced Uechi-Ryu and while in the states grew up, married and had two sons. Draken is supposed to be like a Masutatsu Oyama type figure. Matter of fact both drawings here used Mas Oyama for the pose reference. He’d start with Uechi-Ryu and develop his own style similar to a knockdown Karate style like Kyokushin. Originally Draken was a Dragon Ball OC and I called him Draken Gokuson. Who had a hairstyle that was a mix of Goku’s and Raditz. Draken starts a fighting organization he called the HFC.

Draken is mainstream
